Generally, when I need a little background noise in my apartment or office or trying to find something to listen to in the car, talk radio/podcasts are not the first buttons I push.

This is mostly because I naturally have a flood of thoughts rushing my mind when I am by myself in the car or at home. So, to listen to more talking makes me overwhelmed.

However, I have found topics I thoroughly enjoying listening about from people I enjoy learning from that can all be found on itunes.

Below are three people who are about as educated as it gets on politics, social issues, what is law-abiding and what is not, and when to jump down the throat of those in power who are not living up to campaign promises.

The Ben Shapiro Show:

Ben Shapiro is based out of Bakersfield, California and is the editor-in-Chief of the Daily Wire.

Ben Shapiro is quick-witted, smart, clever, funny and incredibly intelligent on history, religion, politics, English, government, laws and politics. If you tune into a Shapiro podcast, he will catch you up on six months of knowledge you didn't know you needed to know.

Shapiro talks very fast so you must be ready for it because he doesn't slow down or catch anyone up who may just be tuning in a few minutes into his show. If you didn't grasp what he said the first time, you probably aren't going to for a little while.

His conversations are only fact-based. He almost never slips an opinion into his content. Sometimes what he says his humorous, but only because it's true. His show is very educational on Washington D.C., and 9 times out of 10 you will walk away with a better understanding of life in the swamp.

Relatable with Allie Stuckey:

Allie Stuckey is from Dallas, Texas, and was a television host on TheBlaze in Dallas before getting on with Conservative Review or CRTV and is a television host for them. She also does videos for their website on various topics and has this podcast I am about to describe.

Allie Stuckey is funny, obviously relatable based just on the title of her show, very smart and well educated on social issues, religion, politics and life in general. Stuckey is also very real and transparent about here experiences. She doesn't hold much back and it can get very entertaining because it's just so true.

I'll Tell You What with Dana Perino and Chris Stirewalt

You may not know her, but Dana Perino is originally from Denver, Colorado and was George W. Bush's Press Secretary. She is currently a host on Fox News's "The Five" and has her own show "The Daily Briefing" on Fox News. She and Chris Stirewalt's podcast is through Fox News radio, but can be found on itunes.

This podcast is a little more serious than Stuckey's and the content of this podcast is more conversational than Shapiro's. Perino and Stirewalt are funny and transparent with their content, but stick to the story, analyze it and move on to the next newsworthy piece of information.

If you are looking for a podcast or just interested to tune in to these based off my reviews, I hope you enjoy them.
