Walking Away + An Announcement

It's finally March!!!! (Also, Friday, but most importantly March.)
What a week of everything for everyone. It was weird all around - especially for news, which is what we'll discuss today. We will also discuss a bittersweet announcement I will give at the end.
As we all know President Trump was in Hanoi, Vietnam for the summit with Chairman of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un, to discuss a deal to denuclearize the Korean peninsula.
It was pretty wild in a sense of learning new things about the dictator. The other thing that was insane about the week is that President Trump walked away without a deal and before he left the continent, the left criticized that there was no deal. In the words of their beloved New York Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, "You try it!"
Actually, please don't because they would do it wrong.
The other event that I loved about the trip was that Trump stopped at the Alaska Air Force base and visited troops on his way back to Washington.
Michael Cohen not only spilled the beans on what we all knew but they were trying to hide - there is no Russian collusion, and the entire investigation is based on lies and criminal activity. Cohen is sentenced in May for three years for lying to Congress - the first time he testified.
Now for my announcement....
Today is my last blog post for Jon Street Media. The owner, Jon Street, and I agreed I would blog for one year, and today marks that one-year anniversary.
It has truly been an honor to walk through life in different ways through this blog. I am passionate about analyzing American politics, politicians, learning how it works, and most of all, explaining and laying my understanding of the latest in Washington out there for the American people who are interested.
I hope I've given you a different perspective than what you may have gotten from the news. It's very important we keep leaders in power accountable, especially when they are not keeping America first.
Thank you for reading my content - some good, some bad, some with grammatical errors, but all very, very fun. I looked forward to writing each day for you, the readers.
I sincerely hope you have an excellent month and rest of the year.
