Happy Monday!!
It's the last week of February, and I don't know about you, but I am excited and ready for March!
March means Daylight Savings Time, warmer weather, spring clothes, and sunshine!
Monday means an update from the weekend. So, we'll begin with Friday because it was quite an interesting and surprising news day. Around mid-morning it was announced that Robert Kraft had not only been involved in a Florida prostitution ring, but had been charged at the day spa to which the crimes were being committed at.
Also on Friday it was reported that "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett had indeed been cut from the show after his hate crime hoax.
Friday evening, Trump announced that he's nominated Kelly Knight Craft as nominee for United Nations Ambassador.
Nikki Haley, former South Carolina governor, resigned from that position in January.
On Saturday, a Chicago judge set a one million bond for R&B superstar R. Kelly, who is charged with 10 counts of criminal sexual abuse.
President Trump and team boarded Air Force One for his summit for Kim Jong-Un in Vietnam early Sunday morning. There will be an update on that trip on Wednesday.
It was announced two or three days ago that the Mueller investigation could come to an end by this week. However, that's been backtracked. "A report from special counsel Robert Mueller about the Russia investigation is not expected to be delivered to the Justice Department next week," according to the Associated Press.
I'm not surprised.
There's been lots of news over the last couple of days. Check back here on Wednesday for more news!
