Military Agrees to Protect the Constitution, Not the Border

The left's latest "trend" in the American school system is indoctrination on young minds. One of the problems with this is that it's not a trend that has showed up and left again. The "trend" has stayed since the 2016 Presidential Election, which was a year and a half ago. Not only have college students experienced this, it goes to students as young as middle school.

Indoctrination of young minds means teachers have this lesson plan and are supposed to be teaching from the book or curriculum based on what the state decides they need to know. Instead of sticking to education, they find manipulatory ways to twist the facts and not only bash politicians they don't agree with, but also explain why one side is wrong and the other side is right.

You may be thinking, "what? What is going on?" I will give you an example that occurred Monday morning. We were talking about national cases where students had protested decisions the school district made that were politically charged. The conversation got off-topic and all the sudden we were talking about the border control that is taking place as we speak.

My Communications Law professor point blank shared opinions with the class without anyone asking him to. He said, "when people enlist in the military, they are signing up to defend the constitution, not the border." Although this is a perspective I hadn't thought about as all these military moves are happening, his comment didn't make me change my views on the situations. All it had me do was wonder if he was thankful for the sacrifices these soldiers make in risking their lives for his safety.

Sure, border control isn't necessarily constitutional, but protecting America is. I wonder if my professor thought about millions of American soldiers who protect American citizens' lives - whom are complete strangers - from foreign and domestic terrorism. And if soldiers aren't going to protect my professor, and if he is willing to repeal the second amendment, then what does he have left?

(Disclaimer, my teacher did not say he wanted to repeal the second amendment. I only wrote that for the sake of getting my point across.)
