Hopefully this is not your reminder because you've been planning for months, but in case you forgot, Sunday is Mother's Day. Mother's Day is very important because it's a chance to show your Mom or your Mother figure how much she means to you. Our Moms do a lot for us.

Below are some ways to make your mama feel extra special this weekend:

Lunch:

Mom's love to be treated out for a meal. Even if it's something small - they love to be shown off and know their kid appreciates them.

Flowers:

Depending on the type of Mom you have, flowers are a kind gesture. My mom loves everything pink. So, pink roses are usually a safe bet. They also help make the house smell nice. If I know anything about a mother, she loves it when the family helps to keep the house looking clean and smelling nice.

Shoes:

Women love shoes. If your Mom has been hinting at a pair of shoes she's "been looking" at and you know she hasn't bought them, this is the perfect time to buy them for her.

New Kitchen Appliance:

A new coffee mug is very fourth grade of you -- thoughtful, but you can do better. Try to upgrade this year by buying her a new kitchen appliance she's been wanting or even deserves. Whether that's as simple as an electric mixing bowl, a neat coffee maker, or a cool new way to sweep. Any of these will probably make your mom feel very special.

I have given you four ways to help your mom feel special this year. Either I have given you a new idea you will use or it will help jog your memory of something better she will like.
