If you keep up with foreign affairs or politics at all then you have an idea of what is going on between America and North Korea.
If you don't, here is a brief summary. North Korea has been a country of hostility and power for seven decades and ruled by the same family. Because of this, according to USAToday.com, North Korea's economy is run independently. President Trump has been the only president who has been brave enough to begin communication between the two countries again. He tried to bring Otto Warmbier, the college student who was held captive, home and he did but not alive. He ended up dying in a coma. North Korea has also agreed to end its missile program. That is long story short.
What you need to know today is what is currently happening and then I will add my two cents.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with dictator of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un in March during a private trip to the country. Trump and KJU are set to have their highly anticipated meeting on June 12.
There have been very smooth actions made between the two leaders.
I'm not sure if it's because the president means business and is not to be messed around with or if it's because North Korea is messing around and hiding something.
I am hoping its because Trump means business. I am very doubtful, but continue trusting Trump's plans because he hasn't led this country astray yet.
With all that being said, check out how the royal wedding is coming along.
