Summer money

Most students are looking at the end of the school year and are wondering how to make the most of their summer. Maybe save some cash for a trip, college, or something new to have.

Below are easy jobs that are not hard to get hired at because they don't require much experience and are pretty gender neutral - meaning you can be a girl or a boy to get the job done.

Lifeguard:

Being a lifeguard at the pool is one of the most popular jobs. It's an easy way to make friends, to get a nice tan and to stay cool during the hottest days of the season.

Mowing yards:

Keeping up with the landscape can be hard work as it does get very warm in the summer especially depending on where you live. However, most households don't want to mow their yard and would rather pay good money to have a young person get the job done. It doesn't take many yards to have a chunk of cash in your wallet.

Babysitting:

Watching children can either be boring or it can be fun depending on how it's done. Much like yard work, most kids are home during the summer while their parents are at work. Parents have a hard time leaving their children by themselves and would also pay roughly ten dollars an hour to have someone watch them.

Car wash:

Car wash places usually hire young people to get the job done and they are usually just seasonal jobs. It's another good way to meet people and get a few hours in during the week.

Hopefully these ideas have been helpful on finding a summer job.
