Welcome to Wednesday! Here is a rundown of the individual stories that have happened just today.
Politics:
The House voted on a spending bill of $675 billion today on defense in fiscal year 2019.
There will soon be a Putin-Trump Summit to which the date and venue are to be announced, according to the Associated Press.
Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his retirement today. This means the president will get his "second high-court pick," according to the Associated Press. This gives Trump the opportunity to re-shape the top US court, according to BBC News. Apparently that pick will come from a list of 25 candidates.
Tonight, the President will be at a campaign rally in North Dakota to endorse Kevin Cramer for Senate with Jared Kushner - who is an unlikely travel partner for the president.
Entertainment:
Unfortunately Micheal Jackson's father, Joe Jackson, passed away at 89 of pancreatic cancer.
Sports:
Not only was Germany, the team who won the World Cup last year, defeated from the upcoming tournament, but now it's up to Mexico and South Korea.
