ESPN had their 26th annual ESPYs award on Wednesday night at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

There were a lot of awards given out including the Best Game award to the Houston Astros. Chloe Kim won Best Female Athlete award at only 18. Alex Ovechkin took home the Best Male Athlete award after winning the Stanley Cup.

There was a lot of inspiration given out at the awards ceremony, as well. Jim Kelly, who was the former quarterback for the Buffalo Bills for his entire career and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002, gave an inspiring speech about persevering and not ever giving up. Kelly is suffering from oral cancer.

Aside of inspiration, a courageous moment took place. Russian meddling has taken up a lot of headline space, but so has sexual assault.

The night's Arthur Ashe Courage Award went to the 141 survivors who spoke out about the abuses they endured by their team doctor, Larry Nassar, who was sentenced up to 175 years in prison.

Inspiring night for the world of sports.
