Happy Wednesday! Aside from technical difficulties, in order to get back on track here, it would make sense to post a blog today, as well. Plus, the swamp gave us plenty of material - as usual.

If you don't know, don't care, can't keep up, don't know how to keep up, first of all, don't worry because I am happy to help! Second, today began Brett Kavanaugh's hearings to be confirmed on the Supreme Court.

Unfortunately I was not able to sit and watch the entire situation all day. So, I had to get updates from my Twitter feed.

Basically what I got from the day was that the Republican Senators were fairly level-headed and fair with their remarks while the Democratic Senators acted like children.

I understand it's easy to say that when there is a Republican Judge looking to get confirmed on the Supreme Court. However, over and over again, from the clips I watched on Twitter, it seemed as though the message from Republicans like Ben Sasse of Nebraska made it clear that the decision making process was not political - maybe to some.

At the end of the day, the confirmation of a Judge for the Supreme Court should be about interpreting the law, which is what the Republicans were trying to explain.

So far, today has been no different than yesterday with a few protesters getting arrested first thing in the morning. As well as, tension between Democratic and Republican Senators.
