Busy Weekend

Good afternoon! Apologies for the delay - I haven't had internet connection until now from a move.
A lot has happened over the weekend (as it generally does). Let's get to it!
First, Miss America aired Sunday night and crowned Miss New York. This is after the organization decided to leave out the swimsuit competition for the first time in its 98-year run.
Second, football has been back and in full swing. I think Americans are deciding to give the NFL another chance. Aaron Rodgers got injured in his left knee, but amazed viewers nationwide when he
came back out and made three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Third, a Dallas Police officer has been relieved of her duties and arrested for shooting a black man after mistaking his apartment for hers. The police department has struggled to keep officers on-duty. So, this arrest comes after speculation of the officer working overtime.
Fourth, Hurricane Florence has strengthened to a category four and is about to hit the east coast - the Carolinas are looking to get hit first.
