Last we talked Hurricane Florence had made landfall and was beginning the damage. Feinstein was getting the media attention she desired. However, not only did everyone have a lot of questions - such as why she waited until now before she told anyone - but no one believed the allegations she brought forward about Brett Kavanaugh.

So far there have been a heartbreaking 15 deaths (as of Sunday afternoon) from the hurricane. Brett Kavanaugh's accuser spoke to the Washington Post about the sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh.

Christine Blasey Ford, who is professor at Palo Alto University, said "the incident happened in 1982 when Kavanaugh was at Georgetown Preparatory School in Maryland and she was studying at a nearby high school," according to BBC news.

The article gives a play-by-play of the incident Ford claims and goes on to explain that top members of the Senate Judiciary Committee are now expected to speak to both Kavanaugh and Ford.

It will be interesting to see where this leads to. Until then, have a great start to the new week!
