TGIF - am I right? It has been a long week of news and what has definitely been a never-ending news cycle with some rather productive (but plenty of unproductive) debates over the information given.
Let's back up and view the timeline from the beginning.... all we knew Monday was that the democratic senator from California knew about Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's sexual assault allegations.
Wednesday, we found out the root of the allegations - a career-threatening smear campaign that was targeted all the way back to 1996 when Brett Kavanaugh's Maryland judge of a mother, Martha Kavanaugh, allowed the bank to foreclose Ford's parent's home in Potomac (there is more on that in Wednesday's post).
As of around 2p.m. on Thursday, Debra Katz, who is Ford's lawyer, has said Ford will agree to testifying about her allegations "to Senate panel on Kavanuagh if terms are 'fair,' but a Monday appearance is not possible," according to the Associated Press.
Around 10p.m., according to Fox News, President Trump said the Kavanaugh confirmation process should proceed saying, "I don't think you can delay it any longer.'
Hurricane Florence really came in strong with the rain in North Carolina over the week. Highways look like rivers and people's neighborhood's are being ruined by flooding.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will update you the best I can on Monday on the world and its ways.
