Kavanaugh vs The Democrats

There was a lot revealed today other than it was a long day.
America and probably some of the rest of the world heard from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's first and most intense accuser of sexual assault. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford of California has a very vivid memory of the night she claims Kavanaugh and Mark Judge sexually assaulted her while laughing at her expense.
However, she doesn't remember how she got to or left the party or who she was with at the party. Kavanaugh has calendars that conveniently very clearly state where he was specifically during the time Ford accuses him of a heinous crime. (Hint: not at the party.)
Prior to the hearing, critics, hosts, commentators and reporters on all nationwide networks were extremely curious on a number of things - the top being whether Ford would actually be present in person at the hearing and what kind of nature Kavanaugh would be in.
To many of the media's surprise, Kavanaugh came in guns blazing, which is exactly what the Senate Judiciary Committee and the media was not expecting.
To Ford's supporters, she was very brave, compelling and honest about her story. To Ford's critics, she was shaky, confusing, and flip flopped a lot of her original remarks.
One of the remarks conservatives in the media couldn't get enough of is how big a deal Ford's team made flying for Ford seemed to be until it was revealed that Ford is scared to fly, but does and quite often. It was also revealed that while the hearing was delayed, a few times for a number of reasons but mostly because she couldn't fly, she wasn't aware that the Senate Judiciary Committee was willing to go to her instead of she to them.
In other words, Ford's legal team apparently did not inform their client that the Senators would come to Ford.
One part in the hearing that American republicans loved was Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina when he got feisty at Ranking Member (and the reason we were all here) Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein of California for not being truthful about anything. If you haven't seen that video, you can google "Lindsey Graham" and it is sure to pop up immediately.
There have been a lot of skepticism about Ford and her attorneys since the hearing has been over that you could probably spend all day looking at.
Today at 9:30 eastern time, the Senate Judiciary Committee will finally submit their long awaited vote and then there will be several other processes to take place through the weekend. As of Thursday night, Brett Kavanaugh is projected to be confirmed on Tuesday. We will see if that actually happens.
