The Conversations Are Over But Cultural Appropriation Is Not.

Happy Halloween! Try not to scare anyone by your opinions today.

I'm not sure why, but it feels like it's been awhile since we've talked last.

Today, we will discuss a range of topics including but not limited to conversations, costumes, and comments.

On Monday, Fox News's "The Five" had a very interested conversation about where the country stands as the election begins to wind down. Some of the conversation discussed how the debates as a whole are over. No one's mind is going to be changed. Americans everywhere have decided. Now it's time to walk to the ballot box and submit their votes.

According to "The Five," the least likely among voters to participate in this year's midterm election are Millennials and Latinos because those groups of people don't believe it matters to them who they vote for. They don't believe their voice matters.

At this point, for Republicans it's about the economy and for Democrats it's about healthcare.

Now for the reason for my title of this blog, the E! Network had a new nightly pop culture program air for the first time. Everything was going well until they began discussing Halloween costumes.

I'm not one to get offended at much, but I will get offended when someone bashes America.

With 10 minutes left of the show, the black co-host, Nina Parker, requested all Americans try not to dress as another culture. For example, Indians, black people, or terrorists.

The only male co-host of the show, Hunter March, pointed out that no one should dress as a terrorist for Halloween and that we just shouldn't have terrorism in America. Parker quickly responded saying, "If you have a red hat behind you, we're gonna have a problem." March said, "I don't. I want America to stay not great."

I guess Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo's comment on America wasn't enough.

Be safe tonight. Grab a bag of candy for the neighborhood children. Then remember to begin decorating for Thanksgiving, and listen to Christmas music! Just kidding.... kinda....
