Fires and Congressional Frenzy

Happy half-way-through-the-week! I hope everything is going well in your world!
It's been an interesting week so far, that's for sure. It definitely has not been a typical week of news.
We have an insane and intense fire making history as the most dangerous, destructive, and damaging fire in California history, with celebrities doing their part to donate for families in need.
We have shady election situations happening in two states. It seems as though Florida is making the most headlines, but I believe something suspicious happened in Arizona between Sinema and McSally campaigns. I also find it interesting we aren't hearing *too* much out of the Georgia election.
I understand Florida has its specialty because the people running for office are at both ends of the political spectrum and it has become very political.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is making a fool of herself and every millennial out there and she doesn't even know it.
However, aside from all of that news, the news that continues headlining programs across all networks is not only Acosta's suspension, but CNN's lawsuit against the Trump administration because of the correspondent's suspension.
What democrats need to understand is that the only thing bad that happened was that Acosta was granted one question (and maybe a follow-up if he behaves). Press conferences are a busy time. Everyone has burning questions, deadlines to meet, and consequences if neither are completed.
The difference between a calm and professional presser versus The Acosta Show we witnessed was that he decided to explain to the president what he thought was best for the country regarding the caravan and immigration. Regardless of the politics, Acosta has no business explaining his opinion. Correspondents' jobs are to report the facts *only*.
If you think there isn't a trick up CNN's sleeve on allowing Acosta to act that way, then we need to talk.
Hopefully that cleared up any confusion from the news cycle this week so far! We shall pick up where we leave off here on Friday.
If you live in California, go to your local Goodwill, show ID, and I believe they are supposed to be helping the victims from the huge fire out there.
