Thinking of Ways to be Thankful

We are almost there, friends. Do that laundry, pack your bags, make that casserole. Thanksgiving Day will be here before we know it.

With that said - this will probably be the most cliche blog I will ever write, but I think the content is important to be said.

We live in a society that is judgmental and fast-paced with broken families, addiction, and a culture of very little grace for others or hope for the future.

Let's help each other this year try to be a little more thankful and remember those who can't be with their loved ones - whether they are armed forces in the military, first responders, or doctors and nurses.

Some of us have a lot of anxiety about seeing our families for the holidays for whatever reason. Some of us would rather not see our families, but this year, I'd like to challenge all of us to be thankful that we have a family to be a part of. Not everyone has that. If you don't, I'm really sorry about that, and I sincerely hope you are able to find a warm home to go to and celebrate the thankful season.

A few ways to find *something* to be thankful for is to appreciate the little things such as that fun cup you enjoy drinking out of, maybe you just bought a new makeup pallet that you can't wait to use, or you might just be looking forward to that case of beer/bottle of something to drink.

There is a laundry list of ways to improve a day that may not be as fun for you like it is for others.

Or, maybe you love your family and you cannot *wait* to see everyone and live your best life with a beer in your hand a plate full of macaroni and cheese and green bean casserole.

I really hope the above scenario is you, but if it's not, hopefully my ideas to make it better, actually help.

SO Happy Thanksgiving, my little blog readers! I hope you are able to fully celebrate and have a wonderful day!
